October 15, 2007 – San Diego, CA – The American Design Awards is pleased to announce the winners of the 2007 Summer Semi-Annual Contest. Winners have been chosen based on their outstanding display of graphical and web design abilities, in a manner conformant with today's highest standards of visual communication, and ethical design standards.
"Designers by trade will always think outside the box, but having clients or circumstances place constraints limiting those ideas can be very challenging", said Helen Kaz, Director of Marketing at American Design Awards. "One shining example of brilliance amidst these challenges is the entry by Michelle Hooper, founder of M360 Creative of Summerville, SC who's impressive creation earned her an Honorable Mention accolade in the logo design category in this year's competition."
Michelle Hooper/M360 Creative has demonstrated that her work is creative, cutting-edge, and worthy of being an award-winner from among more than 1100 contestants who entered this year's competition.
American Design Awards' Semi-Annual Contests are among the most respected in the industry, attracting tens of thousands of designers with varying experience levels from all corners of the globe, ever since it started back in the year 2000.
Of course with hundreds of brilliant design entries in each of the twenty (20) categories, judges had the very difficult task of grading each artwork, and coming up with the top three finishers in each category – and as you can see from our winners list, sometimes it was hard to draw the line!
